Brief History
Parama Poojya Swami Chinmayanandaji, a visionary of great depth and a contemporary ascetic, embarked on the realization of his noble aspiration by establishing a network of Chinmaya Vidyalayas across India. His goal was to shape a promising future for the citizens of an independent nation by blending India’s rich cultural values with modern scientific perspectives, and these Chinmaya Vidyalayas have consistently strived to achieve educational excellence through this integrated approach.
Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Koramangala invests character building of our students, our integral aspect without which we believe education is incomplete. Positive values of mutual respect, compassion are in stilled amongst students to become great national assets of tomorrow.
Celebrating a significant achievement, Chinmaya Vidyalaya Koramangala has now marked 26 years since its inception. Swami Chinmayananda himself ceremoniously laid the foundation stone for the institution on 14th May, 1993. Following this, the school officially began its operation on 5th June, 1995, initially welcoming a modest group of 67 students and a staff of 3 members, which included the Headmistress. Over time, the school has experienced remarkable growth, currently catering to an enrollment of over 2400 students and supported by a teaching faculty of 100 members.
Currently, the construction of the school building is boasting three floors encompassing a total of 70 spacious classrooms. The institution has integrated a well stocked library, and modernized science laboratories, well equipped a computer lab, as well as an a exclusive English language lab. Embracing a balanced approach between academics and extracurricular activities, the management has thoughtfully allocated ample space for a meticulously designed playground.
