The day, Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, the founder of Chinmaya Mission, attained Mahasamadhi, is observed as Aradhana Day all over the world by the members of the Organization,every year, on 3rd August.
On 3rdAugust, 2024, this special day was observed with great devotion by the Principal, Vice Principals, staff and the students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Koramangala. The sanctity of the day was observed by paying homage to the founder of the institution through a solemn ceremony.The Principal, Vice Principals, School Captains,Cultural Captains,the four House Captains and the Environmental Captains performed “Puja and Aarati” under the guidance of Mrs Dakshayini, amidst the chanting of Ashtottara,Guru Paduka Stotram and Guru Bhajans. The Principal, Mrs. Sathyarani, in her speech, explained the significance of the day to all the students.
Following the tradition and as part of “Seva” or community service a team of teachers and students visited various places to distribute stationery and fruits.
