Swami Chinmayananda Ji’s Aradhana Day was observed with great devotion and reverence at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, St. John’s Road Cross, Bangalore – 560042, on 3rd August 2026. The programme was attended by the respected Principal, members of the Management, teachers, staff, and students, who gathered together to pay homage to the revered founder of Chinmaya Mission, Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda Ji.

The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by the chanting of Vedic mantras, Guru Stotram, and devotional bhajans. Floral tributes were offered at the holy feet of Pujya Gurudev’s portrait by the Principal, Management, teachers, staff, and students as a mark of respect and gratitude.

A Grade 9 student presented a brief and inspiring talk on the life, mission, and invaluable contributions of Swami Chinmayananda Ji. The presentation highlighted Gurudev’s vision of value-based education, selfless service, and spiritual awakening, inspiring everyone to follow his ideals in their daily lives.

As a heartfelt expression of gratitude to Gurudev, the school community enthusiastically participated in a Seva Drive. Students, staff, teachers, and the Management generously contributed essential items such as rice, toor dal, moong dal, soaps, toothpaste, biscuits, Pampers (diapers), and other daily necessities. The collected items were distributed to the following institutions:

  1. Mathrushree Manovikasa Kendra
  2. Sai Krupa Charitable Trust

A special highlight of the day was the visit by the Grade 7 students to Dharitri Foundation, where they personally handed over the donated materials to the special children. The interaction filled the atmosphere with joy, warmth, and smiles, and everyone was deeply touched by the experience. The visit beautifully reflected Gurudev’s teaching that selfless service is the truest expression of gratitude and love.
