The programme was anchored by Mrs.Geetanjali the vice principal of pre-primary section. The event was started with the invocation song by Mrs.Dakshayani, Mrs UmaMaheshwari, MrsPreeti and Mrs Kusuma. The traditional lamp lighting ceremony was done by Swamini Samatananda, ES Shri. T G Krishna Bhatta and Principal Mrs Sathya Rani. Principal Sathya Rani welcomed the parents and the tiny tots to the auspicious programme. She introduced Swamini Samatananda to the gathering. Vice principal Mrs Sheela G gave a brief history of the school. Mrs.Shwetha Raghavendara guided the nursery teachers to perform the Saraswati pooja. Swamini Samatananda initiated the Aksharabhyasa to the tiny tots. The parents helped their children to write ‘OM’ on the slate amidst the chanting of ‘OM’. Principal introduced the nursery class teachers to the parents. Swamini Samatananda blessed the gathering through her ashirvachana. Swamini spoke about the role of a parent in building the character of a child. CEO Krishna Bhatta offered the Gurudakshina to Swamini Samatananda. General instructions for parents were read out by Mrs Dakshayani. Mrs Shyma Hegde proposed the vote of thanks. The parents and students were headed towards the new academic year.
