KHEL MILAN 2023-24 (NURSERY TO UKG): The khel Milan 2023 FOR Nursery to UKG was conducted on 18 th January 2024 inaugurated at school premises and inaugurated by Mr. Krishna Bhat Executive Secretary along with principal of vidyalaya. The day’s proceedings began with flag hoisting, welcome address,and declaring the khel-Milan 2023-24 open through releasing the colorful balloon.
The guest of honour for the valedictory function was Smt. Shweta, International Kabaddi player. Mrs Shweta in her address, motivated the parents to support their children to take part in any kind of sports activity through that the children can develop their good health as well as good social relationship.
KHEL MILAN 2023-24 (I to IV): The Khel Milan 2023-24 was conducted on 28 th November 2023 at Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee ground HSR. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Vijayakrishnan Hockey coach and Manager, Department of Youth Empowerment and sports, Hockey Stadium Bangalore. The day’s proceedings began with arrival of chief guest, flag hoisting, welcome address, and declaring the Khel-Milan 2023 open, followed by vidyalaya kreeda jyothi arrival, set the tone for the competition.
The pre selection for classes 1st to 4th were conducted in school premises and the finals were conducted in the ground. The highlight of the day was umbrella display, ball display, hoops display, and mass drill from the children.
The valedictory function was presided by Mrs. Jayanthi, International Kabaddi player who represented the country. Mrs. Jayanthi in her address, motivated the parents to support their children to take part in any kind of sports activity through that the children can develop their good health as well as good social relationship. The most awaited prize distribution ceremony took place and followed by Shanthi mantra and national anthem.
KHEL MILAN 2023-24 (V to XII): The khel Milan 2023 was conducted on 29 th November 2023 at Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee stadium, HSR layout Bangalore. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Austin Joy Mildred D’ Almeida,International Basketball player. The day’s proceedings began with flag hoisting, welcome address , march past, and declaring the khel-milan 2023 open , followed by vidyalaya kreeda jyothi arrival, set the tone for the competition.
The sports for all classes were conducted in different places. Some of the events for sub junior, junior and senior were conducted in the school premises. The athletic event and cricket for sub junior, Junior and Seniors were conducted in post office ground koramangala. The finals for athletic events for sub junior, juniors and seniors were conducted on that day.
The guest of honor for the valedictory function was Mr.D. Devaraja , the Deputy Commissioner of Police Bangalore East.MrDevaraja in his address urged the students to inculcate good values and behave in disciplined way through participating in the different event.
A colorful band display from band team, ribbon display from 6 th std, yoga display from 7 th std , woops drill from 8 th std, lazim display from 9 th and 12 th classes and dumbbells display from 9th to 12th boys were highlights of the day.
After the display the sports finals were conducted for junior and seniors boys and girls, followed by prize distribution for all were given for all events conducted. The overall champions trophy was bagged by Paramahamsa house for the 5 th consecutive time. The programme ended with national anthem and Shanthi mantra.
